As soon as I walked into the National Slimming and Cosmetic Centre I felt the warmth and friendly atmosphere which I have enjoyed for several years now. I had gained a substantial amount of weight and knew I needed some help and guidance to support me whilst I was attempting to regain a healthy lifestyle.

I was introduced to Dr Purandare who immediately put me at ease but made sure I knew the seriousness of my weight. Dr Purandare helped me to set a goal weight loss of 6 stone through medication and a healthy eating plan. Although this at first seemed like a huge mountain to climb his continued reassurance, advice and support began to pay off.

As each week passed the weight began to drop off and my relationship with Dr Purandare grew so that I felt like an individual and not just a name on a piece of paper. Over the course of a year my weekly weigh in became something I looked forward to rather than dreaded and when I stood on the scales 100 lbs lighter than when I began I felt that it had truly been a team effort.

I truly believe without the medical advice, support and guidance of Dr Purandare I would not be enjoying the quality of life that I am now.
