Skin tags, although harmless, can be annoying, snag on clothing or jewellery,  bleed and reduce confidence. They are made from fibers, ducts and nerve cells, covered by a layer of skin. They are only a few millimeters long and can be brown or flesh-coloured.

Although anyone can develop skin tags, they are most likely to occur in those who are overweight as they are caused by the skin folding or creasing. They can also be hereditary or appear on people who are diabetic or pregnant.

Treatments available at NSC Clinics that treat skin tags:

  • Cryotherapy: Skin Pigmentation Treatment
