Cosmetic Treatment: Anti-Wrinkle Treatments

Having Botox is the best thing I have ever done!

I had tried it a few of years ago, and now at the age of 41 and a holiday booked, I felt it was time to do it again.

One of my most feared things in life is having my photo taken, and then, even worse, having to look at photos of me! My Children are aged 7 and 8 now and I love taking photos of them, but I am never keen to get in the pictures myself.

Now, thanks to the wonderful team at NSC, I have had the Botox and have been able to have some amazing photos taken of the whole family together, including myself! Great memories for us all to look back on in years to come!

When I went to NSC, I was welcomed with a big smile by the receptionist, who instantly put me at ease and offered me a seat and a warm drink whilst I waited. Naturally, being a bit worried, I was early for my appointment!  The Doctor was running to schedule though and I went in on time.

I saw a lady Doctor, who was extremely professional and who had a very friendly nature and a lot of enthusiasm and love for the job she was doing. We sat down to start with and she explained everything she would be doing in simple terms which put me at ease straight away.

The treatment consisted of a number of tiny needle pricks where the Botox was injected. You could feel it, but it didn’t hurt anywhere near as much as having your eyebrows waxed!  The pain lasted a couple of seconds and was then gone completely.  I was then left with pink dots on my head for a couple of hours, which then died down and where completely gone by tea time.

For the next 12 hours I wasn’t allowed to wear make up or go in the sun, but other than that, there were no consequences to having the treatment.

Every day for the next week I gradually saw the lines disappear and after two weeks, once the Botox had had it’s time to work completely, I saw a new, un-crinkled, and much happier, me.

I was really really pleased with the treatment and would recommend anyone who is thinking of having Botox to go to NSC. To put trust in someone with your face is a very big decision and I wouldn’t hesitate to go back to NSC for my next treatment, when I feel it is needed.
